A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper to join a fully staffed private residence in Munich, supporting a single principal and maintaining an exceptional standard throughout the home.
This is a long-term position within a professional household, working alongside an established team including a House Manager, Chef and Housekeeper. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home and have a meticulous eye for detail, particularly when it comes to wardrobe management and laundry care..
Please note: Candidates must hold a valid EU passport with the right to work in Germany. Candidates already based in Munich will be highly preferred; however, exceptional applicants open to relocation may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping and detailed cleaning to the highest standards
- Laundry, ironing and luxury wardrobe care
- Wardrobe organisation and garment maintenance
- Running household errands
- Liaising with contractors and coordinating maintenance visits when required
- Occasional food and beverage service
- Maintaining an organised, well-presented home at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within a private household is highly desirable
- Exceptional candidates from luxury hotels or the superyacht industry will also be considered
- Must hold an EU passport with the right to work in Germany
- Candidates already residing in Munich are preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly with laundry and wardrobe management
- Professional, discreet and proactive with a positive attitude
- Strong longevity in previous positions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small household team
- German language skills are not required
Package
- €60,000–€65,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
- Relocation assistance available, including temporary accommodation for the first month if required
